ibcs Sage Importer Now Available for Sage 50 Accounts 2012 - November 2011
Those of you contemplating a Sage 50 upgrade will be pleased to know that our ibcs Sage Importer, which imports sales transactions directly from ibcs into Sage 50, is now available for the latest release of Sage 50 Accounts 2012.
If you are upgrading to the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts, and already use our Sage Importer, then please contact us to arrange the installation of the upgrade. Alternatively, if you would like to import transactions directly from ibcs to Sage 50 Accounts but do not currently have this option, then please get in touch and we can arrange to install the Sage Importer for you.

James Chaffer Elected as New UKSPA Board Member - October 2011
James Chaffer, ibcs Technical Sales Consultant, has been elected to the Board of the United Kingdom Science Park Association (UKSPA) following the Association's AGM, held recently at Birmingham Science Park Aston (BSPA).
James, who has overseen the development of ibcs since joining ra Information Systems more than 15 years ago, and has been working closely with UKSPA and its members for a number of years, is delighted to take up the position as Business Affiliate Director which has a particular remit of representing the views of Business members of UKSPA. please see the ibcs software blog for more information.

ibcs Software @ CollaboJam, Creating Opportunities Together - July 2011
A very interesting time was had at CollaboJam, the event for the CDI sector, held at the Workstation in Sheffield recently.
A variety of workshops were available, including one on "Customer-driven Iterative Software Development" presented by our very own James Chaffer. His presentation looked at our ethos of working with clients to meet everyone's needs, with a spotlight on the ibcs developments for RiDO and Oxford Innovation in particular, and how this has resulted in ibcs being market-leader in the Business Incubation and Innovation sector.

We've been holding interviews recently here at the ra office and we're pleased to say that Qasim Shah has now been appointed to begin a Graduate Internship working as a Support Engineer on our ibcs Helpdesk.

ibcs Software Exhibiting at BI 12: UKBI's 12th International Conference - Feb 2011
BI 12: UKBI's 12th International Conference will take place from 23rd - 24th March 2011, at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester.
We will be exhibiting at the event and will be introducing our new Business Development Executive, Ian Underdown to the UKBI community. We'll also be showcasing the latest developments to the ibcs system and will be giving away some great goodies on the day.

As part of our plan to make ibcs more accessible, we released our ibcs Team Blog back in Nov 2010. The blog is showing positive statistics and is working well as a place for us to share ibcs news and developments, photos, videos, and more and also a place for us to publish industry and client news and developments, as they occur.
In addition, we launched a FREE ibcs News and Events app on store.ovi.com, to help keep you up-to-date with everything ibcs, even when you are on the move!
